Even though Munich is only a short drive away from the Italian boarder, we had yet to make it down there in the 5 years I have lived here. Until last week that is. We finally made a little roadtrip down to Lake Garda and what we saw did not disappoint. It is so beautiful there, I think my photos hardly do it any justice!
We camped just outside the small town on the Northwest side, Limone sul Garda. We wandered the small streets, ate gelato, swam, paddleboarded, and of course drank wine…it was perfect. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Last week the hubby and I took a little roadtrip down to Lake Garda and back up through Austria. What an incredible area of the world, really. This was my very first impression of the lake as we drove around a bend and the valley below came into our view. Not too shabby Italy, not too shabby at all.
