The craft beer scene is exploding in Florida at the moment. It’s insane. I also work at Big Top Brewing Company in Sarasota and have watched the love of craft beer grow immensely over the past 4 years. So when Jessica and Kristian asked me to shoot their wedding at Coppertail brewing up in Tampa, I was very excited to blend my two worlds ❥

Not only are these two good friends of mine, but I have had the pleasure of documenting their family grow. I was honored to photograph their wedding on Tiffany’s family’s property. It was a day filled with love, family, and friends. The only hard part was trying not to cry while trying to shoot this one ;)

2016 was an interesting year. A lot of good mixed in with some bad. It was a bit of a roller-coaster. Looking back through photos of the year is always therapeutic for me though…reminding me of all the good times. I am very much looking forward to some new adventures in 2017! Cheers to everyone I had the pleasure of working with this year and to all my friends and family. May this year be filled with love, laughter, and new memories.

This job has taken me to some crazy places and I have been lucky to meet some amazing people. In this particular instance it brought me back to someone. Kristina and I were best friends when we were kids and through the power of social media and photos, we reconnected and I was there with her 20 years later to shoot one of the most important days of her life. I couldn’t have been happier to be apart of her day.
Thank you to the entire Octupulla gang…you guys really know how to make a girl feel at home.
Love you all and can’t wait to see you again soon.
