2012…

As I looked through all my photos to pick out some of my favorites from this year I had a few reoccurring thoughts…first, how many photos can one person actually have in a year (seriously?) and second, how very very grateful I am for all the amazing people and experiences in my life. 2012 was a pretty amazing year filled with a lot of great memories, making me look even more forward to what 2013 brings.

I hope everyone had a happy holiday season and enjoys a wonderful New Years with people they love…and I wish you a New Year filled with many fun adventures and happiness!

Here are a “few” of my favorite moments from this past year :)

a winter wedding…

12.12.12 was one of those lucky days. A day when weather, light, and love came together and made me have to pinch myself. “Do I really get paid to do this?” My husband/helper for the day and I were lucky enough to be a part of intimate wedding of two very amazing people and I couldn’t wait to share their photos!

Their wedding took place on Ammersee bright and early on the 12th and as the sun rose they said their I do’s in a cozy house tucked in the snow. After being together already 14 years, you can still see how much love they have for each other. We couldn’t have had a better time hanging out with them and taking photos of their special day. (even in negative temperatures!)

Cheers to you guys and your future together.

…days like this certainly make me feel so lucky to do what I do.

12.12.12

When I received an email that I was wanted to shoot a wedding on 12.12.12…on a lake…in Germany, I thought this girl was crazy! Did she forget it was winter? Ok, maybe I’m a little dramatic, but I really didn’t know how the outdoor photos were going to go. I shouldn’t have worried…

The snow fell the whole week before covering every branch and on Wednesday the 12th, the sun came out for a visit and made the most amazing, romantic, and cozy setting for an intimate wedding of two very awesome people. I cannot wait to share the rest of the photos…but as they are presenting their families with the pictures for Christmas, I will wait. :) Here is a little preview of what the morning was like…
