After spending 3 days in Tuscany I wasn’t sure what could top the past days experiences. We had already done so many things and I had learned so much from my new friends. I was already so inspired. And then came day three of the workshop…
We traveled to the town of Pistoia and visited a local farmers market where we photographed everything. Italians are so fun to capture, with their expressive hands and emotional gestures. We made our way through the market taking pictures of all the beautiful produce and people. Aran and Nadia bought ingredients for a photoshoot we would have later that day…
After the market we sat together in the sun and at lunch at an outside cafe. The food and wine were unbelievable. I’ve thought about that meal quite a few times since that afternoon. :)
When we arrived back at the Agriturismo we worked on styling photos. We played with light, composition and placement of the ingredients. Meanwhile, Nadia set up the most beautiful outdoor picnic scene for us to photograph afterwards. We spent the next few hours outdoors photographing her amazing set up…as well as sampling some of the ingredients. ;)
All in all I would say this was a perfect day, one of those days you wish you could bottle up and do all over again…
Absolutely gorgeous!! And I completely agree – definitely one of those days you want to bottle up and experience all over again!
I love looking at the pictures of this event. It almost seems like I was there. You managed to capture the total emotion and feel of what must one of the more memorable times in your life. Points, points and more points.
Tons of points! :)
Beautiful, you capture things so beautifully. What a wonderful time it was, so happy to have met you and shared this time.
Thanks so much Nadia! It was such an amazing time, certainly one I won’t forget :)
I wish these posts would never end! You have captured the essence so beautifully.
Thanks Juliana! I wished the week wouldn’t have ended, haha. It was quite a magical time there!
What a beautiful place, you have gorgeous pictures, I’m very curious about your camera, probably you received this question thousands and thousands of times, what type of lens did you use and camera. Love the colors and the textures.
Hi Cintia,
No problem! I use a Nikon D700 and for most of these shots I used my 28-85mm lens. It was really a beautiful area…hard to take bad photos!!
